It is my privilege to be the Democratic nominee for State Representative for District 58.  I decided to run because, like so many others, I am frustrated at the constant political bickering and the power of Special Interests in Austin.  Now, more than ever, we need a State Representative who wants to put political gamesmanship aside and represent the citizens of Johnson and Bosque Counties on the issues that matter to them.  We need a Representative in Austin who will live up to the name “Public Servant” and not be a servant to the lobbyists and Special Interests.  While we have seen the energy industry, the utility industry and the insurance industry make record profits we have seen the citizens of Texas falling farther and farther behind in education, income and health care.  I pledge to work tirelessly in the state legislature to do what is necessary to return Texas to Texans.
